Spring Valley ACTS Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community through preservation of our historical heritage, community beautification, and youth activities, among other efforts.
We ACT for Spring Valley in many ways:
- Historic Preservation
- Restoring the George Barrett Concrete House
- Maintaining an archive of Spring Valley artifacts
- Maintaining the Spring Valley Alumni archive
- Operating the Barrett House Museum
- Community Facilities
- Maintaining Founders’ and Bledsoe Park
- Free community meeting room in the Barrett Concrete House
- Community Services
- Organizing the annual Potato Festival
- Significant financial support to our Library, and donations to the Fire Department, Senior Center and other local civic organizations

Attend a meeting
and get to know us. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of alternate months (January, March, May, July, September, and November) at 7 P.M. at the George Barrett Concrete House.
